Statement
Clean-batch, high-grade 1 corchorus olitorius Tossa yarn without jute batching oil (JBO), coated with tapioca starch, in Amatsunawa's Tossa ropes.
Thanks to Jute's hardiness--especially to insect damage and root rot--fungicides and anti-mosquito insecticides aren't required, and bio-insecticides are reduced to 0.001%.
We use 100% GMO-free soybean oil, which also contains cholesterol-free vitamin A a& D, and omega 3- & 6-component fortified.
Since 1996, no rancidifcation has been observed or reported.

14-pound jute, single-ply yarn is covered with a water-tapioca starch spray. It's then wound at the optimum twist, for longitudinal cohesion.
Fig. 2 – Gas Chromatography screening for presence of JBO hydrocarbons
No traces (0.00%) of hydrocarbons consistent with JBO have been confirmed, during screening of the hexane extract in Amatsunawa Tossa

Analysis shows 0.012% rheum palmatum [Chinese rhubarb] bio-propagator to help saplings against disease and promote early growth, plus 0.001% bio-insecticide. None represent negative effects, and the product is therefore considered 100% biodegradable; environmentally friendly and sustainable, and Food Grade.
